What do young children call there parents in other languages?
I have a few friends that I like to call Mom and Dad, but I don’t think they can all be mom and dad, so I need some new names for them.
So what do Young children call there moms and dads in other countries/languages?
In English (as we all know): Mom, Dad
In Yiddish: Mama, Tate (Ta-tay)
In Spanish: Madre (ma-dray), Padre (pa-dray)
In Hebrew: Emah (E-mah), Abba (Ah-bba)
In Russian: Matb (maht), Oteц (o-ets)
