French Language For Children
If you are on a mission to become a true francophone (french-speaker), I can show you three (3) methods that have helped me catapult my knowledge of the french language, from being a novice learner to a whizz linguist.
Using the below techniques, you will be able to finally achieve your goal of becoming an expert french-speaker:
*Method 1: Listen to French Radio, TV, or media: Make every effort to watch TV, listen to Internet Radio stations and podcasts, and French magazines or newspapers. If you are lucky enough, you may find some broadcasts that air with subtitles (closed-captioned) and therefore you will be able to see what you are hearing. This is will make it much easier for you to transition into the french language.
*Method 2: Make friends with a native francophone: Go out of your way to attend social gatherings where you might meet native speakers. Do searches for local meet up groups or organizations. There may be a lot of french-friendly associations in your area. Also check out schools, religious groups, and institutions in your area that may have a french-speaking base.
*Method 3: Combine the best of both worlds: Visit or move to a francophone country: France, Quebec Canada, Haiti, or Martinique,. You can listen to the local radio, watch local television, and absorb the media in your downtime. And then take what you’ve learned and have full conversations about the new information–with the french-speaking locals! This way you’re combining the best of both worlds–a truly an extraordinary learning experience!
*Bonus Method: Learn french from the comfort of your own home.
