Children Learning A Foreign Language

is there such thing as a foreign language learning disability / spelling disability?

I have always had a really hard time learning a foreign language (latin, french and now spanish) I have been almost failing spanish and its not because i’m not trying. I meet with my teacher once a week, i have an outside of school tutor, and I study and do all of the homework. I should be doing great but my grades are terrible. I also have a really hard time with spelling (i went through and proofed this like a thousand times). I also had really hard time learning to read when i was younger. I couldn’t get through a children’s book alone until 3rd grade. I’m a really good reader now and i excel in all of my other classes! does any of this should familiar? any suggestions on what I should do? thank you so much!
